Majorca Week 1!

Hola again, los sientos por la late post!

So much has happened in the past few weeks and it’s been an awesome exhausting  journey.

Here is where I left off:

After an exhausting trip, we finally settled down into our farm house and enjoyed the local beach, Port de Pollenca—a ten minute drive from our house

The water is seriously this clear!?

Me and Scrap..the name we gave him because he sits on the windowsill looking into the kitchen all night and day lookin for some scraps

The bouldering gym in our house! We were using it a lot, but now it's hard to make the time since we're doing fun stuff outdoors all day..i've never been so exhausted :)

It's not always rainbows and unicorns with us...that looks like a hard slap to the butt...yes those are red outlines of fingers

Cooking our daily gourmet meals since we have so much time and the food is SO cheap! Olives, cheese, avacados, tomatoes,  and basically any produce cost near to nothing...we really lucked out on this one

ravioli with sun-dried tomatoes and guacamole

arghhh

Prawns with tomato, garlic, basil, spinach, and onion
Linguini with sundried tomatoes, basil, onion, and garlic
.....mmmm

Today we went back to this beautiful area in South Majorca called Cala Barques and did some incredible deep water soloing over the clear tourquoise water. We went with our housemates, a French family that is incredibly nice and relaxed. We spend every night with them joking around and seeing if we can make our next day plans fit to climb or go to the beach together.

The next blog post will have photos and videos of deep water soloing, slacklining and more, I swear!

  4. I've been cooking alot recently too, or I was when I was on Catalina. This past week I made carrot cake, ate some pickles I was fermenting for 3 months (cause I forgot about them) and yesterday I made kimchi, gotta wait like 9 days to eat it though. Your food looks sooo soo good though. And fresh, thats what I miss the most working in the backcountry. Bye!
