Majorca Week 1 Continued!

This week we got to spend a lot of time with friends...

.
We drove to Palma twice to see Mi-ae and her family, which is a scary 1.5 hour scooter ride to the other side of the island on highways with speed limits of 120km when our scooter maxes out at 85km eek!!

Sharing the richest hot chocolate known to man and fresh pastry ensimadas...a Spanish specialty

Walking through the narrow streets of Spain
Majorca is one of the cleanest places i've seen.
The cobblestone floors in Palma are swept twice a day

Palma Castle

Cuties at the Palma Cathedral

Shortly after our visit, Mi-ae decides to come to our side of the island and we spend the day in the beautiful town of Cala Sant Vincenc.

A stormy day doesn't let us enjoy our daily beach time in the sun but served for some beautiful photos.

Mi-ae rock climbing whaa??

It's only fitting

Very Very Scary

On a more exciting/scary note, two kayakers were being tossed around in 10 foot waves and all the lifeguard could do was blow his whistle because lord knows he wasn't going in that ocean! But thank god they made it to shore alright and weren't thrown against the nearby rocks that looked like where their fate was heading.

The next day we found Esther, Anya, Sara, and Kyla in Majorca! Coincidence, I think not!

Getting tapas in Port de Pollenca with the girls...and Ryman!

Alwaysss climbing stuff while intoxicated, sounds like a bad combo, and I was definitely not the one encouraging it...

Climbing all the way home

Like omg are we seriously wearing the same dress

After we got the partying out of us
we needed to get some climbing done

We packed in the car and headed for deep water soloing

Kyla lookin like a diva

Due to ridiculously strong waves we were unfortunately unable to climb and the girls couldn't experience Majorca's world class deep water soloing

After our failed attempt we decided to stick to climbing off the ground

Sara looking over our area of Pollenca

Ryman nearly kiking me in the face

(Unfortunately, we didn't capture any photos of the girls climbing)

Anyhoo, we had amazing success at deepwater soloing a few days ago and have awesome pics and videos soon to come!

  2. haha I was a whoos! I've been out've the game for a while but I finally led my first 11 in a long time yesterday. People weren't really surfing because the waves didn't seem to be so good...I think. Glad ta hear your still climbing so when you come out to Thailand we can go deep water soloing ;)...we miss you!
