The Journey Begins: Ello London and Hola Majorca!*~

After five years of dreaming, a year and a half of saving up money, and a half year of planning we said our goodbyes to the US of A and shipped off to London. Leaving our friends and family was very very hard, especially for me, after only being back in the country for a month and a half. Ryman however, was more in need of a youth revival kick in the ass kind of vitamin B shot since he's been slowly fermenting at his zombie desk jobs since he was 16 years old. Anyhoo, so we were OFF!

In the process of packing 25 years of stuff into two backpacks...thanks Milene and thanks Lev family for putting up with us for 2 years :)!

London

Streets of London...looks like Times Square!

Jet lagged and looking for Esther

Our crazy couch surfer host that made us doubt we ever would surf again or even enter the country again. The guy is literally borderline psychotic, racist, and flat out mean. We didn't know if he'd steal all of our stuff at his house or just attack us like he attacked this random small Asian guy in the subway station. I could literally write a whole blog about him and I fear for anyone who stays with him.

Esther in London whaaa??

Mallorca

After an awful few days in London in which we did not see anything...literally anything, we were ecstatic to arrive in the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca.

Mi-ae saved us in Mallorca as we arrived at night with no place to stay
(since we couldn't get to our place on the other side of the island)

The next day we headed out to find our villa on the other side of the island..we were already burnt out and had only been gone for 3 days...ohhh boy

So apparently our house has no address, so we walked and walked and walked some more into the abyss of nothingness as the taxi driver refused to take us down the gravel roads. Starved to death we were ecstatic as we found wild black berries growing everywhere.

We live on a farm wha??

FINALLY we arrive at our villa!

Thank the lord we found potatos in the house..getting the gas stove to work was another ordeal

YES the landlady's friends came and could give us a ride so we didn't have to walk the usual 4km into town

In our small beautiful town, Pollenca

working working working trying to get a scooter, internet and such

We live on a freaking goldmine of fruit and veggies!
Endless blackberries, grapes, pears, tomatoes, limes, aloe, figs and more

Blackberry picking

Our Villa! All this land and we're ONLY a 10 Minute scooter ride from the beach!!
It also runs solely on wind and solar energy

View from our villa

We were super lucky because we were suppose to stay with a family in the house but we actually got the whole thing to ourselves for a few weeks!

And to think all of this happened in only few days....we've done so much more already and will blog soon!
