Finally the time has come...
DEEP WATER SOLOING

One of the most beautiful secluded beaches we've ever been to: Cala Varques

The nude/topless culture was interesting... it was funny seeing naked snorkelers swim by..we won't say whether we participated but let's just say we embraced the culture

There was a whole bohemian hammock village that lived on the beach that Ryman and I are considering being a part of long-term

A few of the climbing caves

The 55 foot cliff we jumped off!
It's a crazy adrenaline rush and we've been enjoying expanding our concept of what we think is scary

Ryman jumped off and I heard a large thud and what looked like a semi semi belly flop, he then appeared at the surface looking out of it and said  “I feel  like a chiropractor cracked my neck in 80 different places in a spit second”...he is recovering but doing well and will jump again soon! His throat isn't bruised anymore..it only took a few weeks. He says sorry mom.

Deep water Soloing in the Metro-sexual Cave

Deep water soloing is definitely super fun but more dangerous than regular climbing because if you fall wrong you risk collapsed lungs and what not
(but we were careful)

A 50 foot cliff we climbed

a guy just about to eat it :/...oh and ryman in his undies

And finally a video!
So much technical difficulties with our weak netbook but here it is:

  3. haha glad you liked the movie! We actually saw your mom and Gerald a few days ago in Lichtenstein and they nursed us back to health and took us to the top of the mountains and treated us to real apple strudel. It was so nice to have a relaxing break and to be taken care of :). That would be awesommeee if you guys came to visit :)..I think we will be in Thailand at that time. Take care and we miss you guys!!!

  4. Sweet video! Looks like harmony made it further along the route than Ryman did, ha. The water is so clear it's crazy. Glad to see you guys are having a good time.

Here's the video from my bungee jump in Nepal. It's a compilation of all the jumps that our group from the embassy did. It's 500 feet high, supposedly the second highest bungee jump in Asia. We did both traditional bungee jumps as well as a "swing" jump which uses climbing ropes to swing you across and give you a longer free fall than traditional bungee. My jumps are towards the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzloP69WYB4&feature=plcp

Hope you got my postcard at Gerald's. Look forward to the next post!
