*~GrEeCe Part 1~*
From Croatia we hitched a ride with Ryman's Uncle to Austria (Austria post to come)
We then hopped over to Athens, Greece
Although Athens is our least favorite city, there is no denying how incredibly amazing the Acropolis and Parthenon are! Athens itself is pretty dirty, packed, and is very very difficult to navigate.
When looking for road signs and metro directions we couldn't read anything,
ending with us always saying "What the heck, it's all Greek to me" haha dar dar
Here are some Highlights!
Lost again!?!
Graffiti on the trains, taken during the only day we could use it due to strikes!
This is defs not safe..shooting arrows at a target right above a highway?
~Acropolis~
It's hard to believe that this area is thousands of years old and has been fought over countless times, yet still stands. Perhaps the biggest crime is the stealing of most of the Parthenon's statues to be put in England's British Museum!
This is from the 3rd-4th Century BC seriously??!
Ancient Amphitheater
At the Acropolis enjoying the heat
The beautiful Parthenon
Parthenon
Rym chillin for 4 hours while we wait for the sunset light for my photos :)...you're the best
4 hours later, the sunset light has arrived :) and boy does he look beautiful
